Buffer Zones in Pench Tiger Reserve Maharashtra to Remain Open for Monsoon Safaris
A wildlife safari in Pench Tiger Reserve is an essential activity for everyone wanting to experience the exhilarating Pench Jungle as it allows wildlife enthusiasts to see birds and animals in their native habitat. The monsoon jungle safaris in the buffer zones of Pench Tiger Reserve of Maharashtra will continue as the core zones will remain closed for the next three months starting from July 1. The safari gates of the Pench region which include Sillari, Khursapar, Karhandla, Gothangaon, and a few more locations will be closed till September 30.
Road and weather conditions will determine whether monsoon safaris are allowable through any gate in the buffer zone of Pench Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra. The lodging for visitors will be available at Sillari, Kolitmara, and Surewani regions. The forest department of Pench has decided that monsoon safari booking reservations for entry through the Paoni safari gate will be accepted from Sillari, Banera gate from Kolitmara, and Surewani Buffer Zone Gate of Pench Forest.
